How to get there
The nearest Cities to Bromo Tengger Semeru are Surabaya and Malang.
Plane
International & domestic travellers can go to the Juanda Airport (SUB) in Surabaya, or another airport for domestic travellers, Abdul Rachman Saleh Airport (MLG) in Malang.
Train
You can take the train to Surabaya stopping at Gubeng Station (SGU) or to Malang stopping at Kotabaru Station (ML) and continue by car to Bromo.
Car
The distance from Surabaya to Bromo is about 80 km. From Malang, it will be about 60 km
