The inception of the 10 New Bali photo book came as an inspiration from H.E. Ngurah Swajaya, the Ambassador of the
Republic of Indonesia to Singapore. It was back in 2016 when the Team; consisting of photographers and contributors
from Indonesia, Germany, Singapore, Malaysia and Philippines decided to embark on the project to compile images of
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Message “Magnificent Bromo”. The photo book was presented to H.E. Ngurah Swajaya who was very impressed and happy with

The Director General for American and European Affairs, the beauty of Mount Bromo presented through the lens of our group of photographers.

Table of Contents in Indonesia. We accepted the challenge and thus embarked on the production of this photo book. He mentioned that
It is coming from our heart this would be inline with President Joko Widodo’s “10 New Balis” growth strategy to ride on the economic success and
effects of tourism that Bali enjoyed all these years.
The motion has been set and under the “10 New Bali” blueprint, the Indonesian government earmarked the 10 destinations
for development, which incidentally was highlighted by Indonesia’s Tourism Minister Arief Yahya during the Singapore-
Lake Toba 02 Indonesia Investment Forum 2017.
