Semak Daun Island is a small quiet island. Its location is in the Seribu Islands. As the name, there are leaf bushes there. The island is famous for the rare hawksbill turtle sanctuary, blue water, and white sand.

When we need electricity, we can ask the coast guard for his help. Before go to Semak Daun Island, we must have masks and negative results of PCR or SWAB test for health requirement. We started the journey from Kali Adem Muara Karang Harbor Jakarta to reach Pramuka Island by a large ship for transit. The cost of the large ship is Rp 75,000.00 per person.

The distance between Muara Karang Harbor and Pramuka Island is about 3 hours. The entrance fee to Pramuka Island is Rp 35,000.00. Then, we continued to Semak Daun Island by small boat. The cost of the small boat is Rp 400,000.00-Rp 800,000.00. It depends on the number of passengers. We needed around 40 minutes from Pramuka Island to Semak Daun Island. The entrance fee to Semak Daun Island is Rp 50,000.00, and the camping fee is Rp 50,000.00. All of the prices are one-way tickets, so prepare for the return tickets to Jakarta, such as the cost of the large ship and the small boat from Semak Daun Island.

Semak Daun Island has white sand. We could walk around Semak Daun Island. We would not get lost. It is a small island that has simple pathways. Take a photoshoot and enjoy its beautiful view. If we were bored at night, fishing on the pier is one of the interesting activities. One of the attractive activities is watching the rare hawksbill turtle sanctuary. We also could enjoy snorkelling and swimming. The clear water made us see the beauty of coral reefs, various fishes, and underwater panorama. Amazing view in front of our eyes. Going back to nature is very relaxing. It brings happiness to our life.

If we wanted to stay at Semak Daun Island, we must set up a tent for camping. Don’t forget to bring camping equipment, such as jackets, blankets, drinks, food, and other supporting tools. While camping, we could watch the sunset and the sunrise on Semak Daun Island. Besides, sparkling stars are available if we were lucky.
