Two of them are the famous Komodo Island and Rinca Island, which is inhabited by residents and the habitat of Komodo Dragons. The two islands, Rinca Island and Komodo Island, each have advantages and disadvantages. Many travellers are coming and confused to distinguish these two islands. Komodo Island has more forests, while Rinca island has more savannas.
Komodo dragons on Rinca Island also have a more ferocious nature because of the scorching weather and dominated by Savanna. That’s why there are often cases of Rangers attacked komodo dragons on this island. The location of Rinca Island is very convenient as a trekking place that not be forgotten.

Entrance fees to Rinca Island on the price of your boat trip, you’ll be asked to pay park entry fees at the PHPA office when you arrive on Rinca. These fees have recently risen sharply and differed hugely for Indonesian and foreign visitors. Foreigners are charged IDR 150.000- between Monday and Saturday and IDR 220.000 on Sundays and national holidays.
