Kura Kura Beach
The hidden beach in Lombok is located in Sungkun Hamlet, Ekas Buana Village, Jerowaru District, East Lombok Regency.
This beach is not as popular as Kuta Beach, Senggigi Beach and Tanjung Aan. Two towering hills flank turtle Beach. Besides, Turtle Beach has its own power with the uniqueness of having a small gili that resembles a turtle.
That’s why the locals call it Turtle Beach. No wonder Gili Kura-Kura is the object of photos of tourists visiting this beach. Especially for those who like selfies. As if far from the crowds, this beach is still relatively clean, natural and unspoiled by tourists.
Two high cliffs flanking this beach add an exotic impression that there are rocks and corals with the coastal part. To enjoy a better view, it is advisable to come in the morning or evening. The weather is blue clouds, strong winds, and beach waves seem to add to your fun with family or friends to play on this beach.
The entrance fee to Kura-Kura Beach is charged at IDR 20.000, for cars and IDR 10.000, for motorcycle users. Road access to Kura-Kura Beach is excellent, and it can be passed by 2 wheels or 4 wheels to this beach. It takes approximately 1 hour and 24 minutes from Kuta Mandalika. Bring snacks and drinking water during the trip because of the lack of restaurants in this area. Although this area is still quiet, you will find some lodgings that are already equipped with cafés.
