Trip to Thousand Islands
The most common port to board to Thousand Islands is Muara Angke Port. Boats are scheduled according to your bookings. Within three hours from Muara Angke Port, you will reach Pramuka Island. Speed boats from Marina Ancol Ferry Port will take you there in half the time. You can rent speed boats from here too. Marina Ancol Ferry Port is located in the amusement park of Taman Jaya Impian Ancol, North Jakarta. The boat is the only transportation for you to reach Thousand Islands. Keep in mind that there are many islands there, so be specific about what island you want to visit. Other than that, you can also take a tour so that you can go to three or four islands with them.
Walking around Jakarta Old Town
Jakarta Old Town is located in North Jakarta and is easily accessible by public or private transportation.
